Though there are performance related works that will make things like `allprojects` fail in the future, but that's at least 1-2 years away. This is a *much* better place for it.Īs I mentioned in my other comment, you don't have to do this change to your project right now. The global settings (repository declaration, plugins version declaration and repositories) is moving from the build file to the settings file. `adle` is the file that has in the past only been used to declare the different sub-projects. This has also contained global configuration. This is the configuration of the root project. You also talk about original and old file which is confusing to me as there are only 2 files that have always been there. I don't really understand what the problem is. if you are unhappy with this, you should file a bug on their tracker. This only applies to Bumblebee though, in Arctic Fox only repository declaration was moved to adleįirst, this is a Gradle change. We have informed Gradle about it and they will look into it shortly. Note that for the 2nd point, we are actually reverting back this change because we discovered some classloader issue when declaring plugin versions in adle. Again this used to be in the root project under buildscript but it's not really the best place for it. ![]()
